Here is what we was up to when we was in Tenerife, we didn’t do so much because I got sick, but at least the boys had a good time 🥰
In the next few days I will upload my Teide vlog, so don’t forget to subscribe on Youtube
We are back home in Sweden, back to routines, and I am sick 🤒 I got sick already in Tenerife, I think it was the third day, but I did my best so the boys would enjoy their holiday.
Anyway, we loved every second being on Tenerife, like always. This time me and Jawad actually visited Teide, and it was so beautiful and breath taking ( I will post a vlog from there in the next few days!), the boys enjoyed the pool, and we just had a lovely time. Tenerife is crazy, because every time you find some new location beautifuler than the other, that island can definitely take your breath away.
My dream is that next time we visit the island we stay for one month, because I can se the happiness in my boys eyes when they run around there 🥰 so we’ll see what 2020 will surprise us with 😜
So we been here in Tenerife for a few days now, we landed on Sunday and was suppose to pick up our rent car at the airport, but unfortunately we wasn’t aloud to take it because Jawad hasn’t had his driving licens long enough, so we decided to take a taxi instead, lost around 250 euros for the car, but happy to be here anyway!
The house where we are staying is absolutely amazing, in the middle of Playa De Las Americas, with everything outside our door. The boys are so happy to be here, just running around and playing, enjoying life and sleeping late, just how life in Canarias should be 🥰
Today I’m off for some alone time at the hairdresser, can’t wait to just sit and not have to do anything for a few hours while someone is taking care of me 😂
Yesterday the first snow for this winter came to Stockholm, unfortunately I was working, but today after breakfast I took the boys out so they could play and I could get some pictures. It sure was cold, and I don’t think I ever will get used to the coldness, but what do we not do for the kids?! As long as they are happy I am happy ❤️
This morning i woke up the boys really early, we had breakfast and got dressed and then went out to the bus, because today we took Adam on his first cinema visit ever. We watched Alfie Atkins, and both the boys enjoyed it. The movie was only 40 minutes long, a perfect movie for a first time ( the first time I took Elias to the cinema we aslo watched Alfie Atkins actually!), and he did so good even if he was sharing the chair with me the whole time 😂
Today i really felt that I failed as a parent. Today, for the first time since Elias was born, I felt that I’ve raised him wrong (don’t get me wrong, we have had our ups and downs, but then he usually fight with me, Jawad or Adam). Today he was playing in pre school with two other boys, and the play got a little bit too real, and Elias hurt another boy. I never felt so sad in my whole life when the teacher told me, I felt that the whole world just came crashing down…Did I let him watch the Ipad too much?! Did I let him play the scary games on roblox, without caring if he gets scared or hurt?! There is so many questions and thoughts spinning around in my head, and after todays incident I don’t know who to blame! All I know is that I love my sons more than anything, and I don’t ever want them to hurt someone else, but then again, boys will always be boys, right?!
Today after breakfast I took the boys to their pre school park, because it’s sunday we had the whole place for ourselves. The boys was running around, playing and just enjoying some fresh air. I love spending time outside with my two favorites, even though it’s beginning to get really cold.
After the park we went home for lunch, the boys had pancakes and me and Jawad had a really nice spaghetti with letil sauce, which the boys will have for dinner later today.
Now Adam is sleeping he’s daily nap, Elias is playig with some toys and I’m having coffee and just relaxing…
A few days ago Jawad came home with a big bag of apples, so yesterday I decided to make a vegan apple pie…Now when Jawad also turned vegan i find it really fun to make and try new vegan recipes ( I will try and share a few of them here!)
This apple pie is really easy to make, all you need is:
2 tablespoon sugar and 0,5 teaspoon cinnamon (that you mix with the apples)
125 gram vegan butter
3 tablespoons sugar
2 dl wheatmeal
2 dl oatmeal
Cut the apples and mix it with the sugar and cinnamon and put it in an ovenware. Mix the rest of the ingredients and sprinkle it over the apples. Then put the pie in the oven, 200 degrees for 20 minutes and its done 🙂 Serve with vanilla custard ☺️
On Wednesday morning me and Jawad took the car to Skavsta airport to start our journey to Gdansk Poland for some alone time without the kids. The flight took only 45 minutes, and then the bus took about one hour due to traffic. Immediately when we came too Gdansk I fell in love with the city; the colors, the kind people and just EVERYTHING!
We stayed at Ibis Stare Maisto, and it was a nice hotel close to the city and I slept like a baby in their bed.
We visited Oliwski Park that was absolutely beautiful and we climbed the 409 steps up the St. Mary’s Basilica to experience the most amazing view over Gdansk and we just walked around the city and enjoyed an amazing time.
Im so happy to have discovered Gdansk and Poland, and I’m sure I will be back!
Here is part one of my vlog from Gdansk:
